Welcome to The Beauty Standard Journal – a place for meeting new brands, understanding what ‘ethical’ beauty really means and, well, just getting to know us (Fran & Lou) a little better.
Why we’re here
The Beauty Standard was born out of pure passion. We worked together as buyers across all different industries but eventually we stumbled across a gap in the beauty market. Gifting beauty is our love language and we, quite honestly, couldn’t find anyone who was speaking it – and so the journey began.
What we do
We wanted to create something we’d love to give as much as receive – a gift that felt good from the inside out. So inside our boxes you’ll find the innovators of the beauty world – the most
thoughtful, ethical brands in their full-sized glory (no tiny throw-away samples here!).
How it works
Ours isn’t a subscription service – each box can be bought as a one-off, though we fully encourage you to treat yourself or a loved one on a regular basis if you’d like to. What’s great about this is that you can choose a box depending on what you need each time – be it grounding, uplifting, calming and more. Every box is £69 but worth between £150-£300 too.
